Motorola started soak testing of Android Lollipop on Moto E & Moto Maxx


Motorola is taking it seriously to update their all smartphones with the latest versions of android. As promised, Motorola has confirmed the Android Lollipop release for their budget Moto E and high end Moto Maxx smartphones.

While the company's official blog only features an entry detailing their Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update plans for the Moto Maxx and Moto E in Mexico, Brazil and India. There is no official words for the Lollipop availability for other countries, but we can safely speculate that all Moto E smartphones across the world will receive this new firmware in the near future. Motorola has already started soak testing for the Moto E smartphone in Brazil and India  and for Moto Maxx in Brazil and Mexico. My friend have received a notification of lollipop update on his Moto E check out below.

The company has not announced a specific time for the wider rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. If you do not receive a notification for the update, then go to Menu> Settings> About Phone and then use the System Updates section in order to check for new firmware file. From the news, the update will measure around 342MB and you should need to free at least 500MB of space in the storage.
