Acer launches new Chromebook C910 boasting speedy Core i5 chip business oriented model


On March 10, the America based company Acer announced an upgraded Chromebook 910 with the powerful Intel Core i5 processor which delivers a very good performance.

Carlos Siqueiros said, "The new faster performing Acer C910 Chromebook with an Intel Core i5 processor is raising the bar for Chromebook performance". Acer is also claiming that this Chromebook can outperform any other commercial Chrome OS laptop on the market today aside from Google's own Chromebook Pixel - which is slightly more expensive than it.

In terms of design, it is very portable laptop and weighs only 2.19Kg. It has a 15.6 inch IPS display and comes with the resolution of 1920x1080p. Other features are like good trackpad, long lasting batter, 4GB of ram and 32GB of flash storage. In terms of connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11AC with MIMO technology, USB 3.0 and 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and an HDMI port also.

The new Chromebook is a business oriented model it has more gentle look and faster hardware but obviously you also had to pay much for it. It has been priced at $499 when it ships next month. It is $150 more than base model Chromebook 15 which is also quite good.
