Xiaomi launched its cheapest smartphone Redmi 2A at Rs 6,000


After many rumours and leaks, Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun on the company's fifth anniversary has unveiled a more affordable variant of the Redmi 2, the Redmi 2A. The company also announced Pink edition of its Redmi Note smartphone.

Xiaomi Redmi 2A has been launched at Rs. 6,000. The Redmi 2A looks similar to the recently unveiled Redmi 2 smartphone, however, it sports slightly lower specifications than it.

The device sports 4.7 inch HD (1280x720p) display and powered by a 1.4GHz Leadcore quad-core processor backed by 1GB of ram running Android 4.4.4 Kikat with Xiaomi UI on the top. The phone packed with 2200mAh of battery and comes with 8GB inbuilt storage with expansion via sd card. Other than that, the phone supports 4G LTe bands and comes with 13MP rear camera with an Led flash and 2MP of front facer camera.
