Xiaomi sold more than two million smartphones during an event on March 28 and raised total revenue of $337.6 million in just 12 hours, making a new Guinness record.
Xiaomi organised 12 hr 'Mi Fan Festival 2015' across seven countries in Asia yesterday, with total sales of 2.12M smartphones and revenue of around $335M. Not only this company also sold 38,000 Mi TVs as well as 770,000 smart appliances, including the recently announced Mi Smart Scale.
Xiaomi's first fan day was stage at India, Indonesia,Malaysia and this year company has proved that Xiaomi is an internet company, with an e-commerce model being an extremely successful one.
Xiaomi the biggest tech startup in the world, sold more than 60 million smartphones last year, and the company expects sales this year to reach 100 million. The Chinese company is at third position among global smartphone makers by selling low-cost smartphones and tablets aimed at budget-conscious customers in markets such as China, Indonesia and India.
