Samsung Galaxy A5 Review

In the previous post we had talk about all new Galaxy A3 phone, and now it's turn to talk about it's bigger brother of Samsung Alpha family- Sasmsung Galaxy A5.

DESIGN

So let us first talk about it's design. In previous years, Samsung always use the plastic body for it's smartphone but as with the competing smartphone makers stepping up their game Samsung also took direction in the build quality But not that much as we see in Galaxy Alpha and the Note 4 uses a metal frame but back cover of the smartphones is still in plastic case.
The square-sided handset look and feel good, similar to the Alpha, or like bigger, more maneuverable version of the Note 4. The handset is also on the light side and very noticeably slim -- in fact, this is the most svelte Galaxy phones yet. The exact dimensions of the phone are 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7 mm (5.48 x 2.74 x 0.26 in) weighing 123 gm.

PERFORMANCE

Performance wise, you might think that luxury metal casings like these would house equally high-end specs, but the A series is actually defined by mid-range specs that target a more youthful demographic. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip clocked at Quad Corew 1.2ghz Cortex-A53 CPU with Adreno 306 graphics blessed by 2gb of ram. has Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with touchwiz interface on the top.
Galaxy A5 has 16gb of internal storage expandable upto 64gb via micro sd card. Luckily, all the Alpha phones supports LTe 4 standard connectivity for faster internet downloads. It has good connectivity options like 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC(only in LTe model), micro USB 2.0. It packs a 2300 mAh non-removable battery.

DISPLAY

The Galaxy A5 is equipped with an extraordinary Super AMOLED display and Adaptive Display technology to deliver clearer images with deep contrast and better viewing angles for more vivid, colorful content in virtually any environment, even under bright sunlight. It sports a 5.0 inch HD (1280x720) display makes it arousing 294 pixel per inch density.

CAMERA

Samsung had took camera to the another level by launching the "A" series of their smartphone. It mainly aims at customers interested in selfies with features such as wide selfie, palm selfie, animated GIF, beauty face selfie on offer. Galaxy A5 sports an advanced 5mp front facing camera that shoot up to 100 degrees in portrait and a 120-degree landscape/panorama mode.

At the back, it has 13mp of camera with led flash which gets the same rear-camera selfie feature first seen on the Note 4 (I really like this one). Also it contains brand-new animated GIF mode, which combines up to 20 pictures you capture by pressing and holding the shutter button. You can adjust the frame rate for 1-to-10 frames per second, and also tweak the GIF quality using a sliding scale. You'll also be able to reorder frames and adjust the settings before saving your animated GIF. It's a cute idea, but one that's clearly still in its infancy
