Micromax which is known for it' smartphones is also trying to make his name in Led segment for about 2 years. Previous week Micromax launched a 50 inch FHD Led at very low price. The TV is about 20k cheaper than other giants like Samsung and LG. The new Micromax 50B5000FHD is available at Rs. 39990 on the company's site but Snapdeal which is an e-commerce is selling it at just Rs. 32991.
The new Led has very less bezel design and has a brushed texture finish. The design is free from curves. The buttons on the bottom have very plasticity feel and doesn't have much refinement. The back is little thick due to speakers and other circuity options. The back contains two HDMI ports, USB port, audio out port and VGA port while the left bottom have options of USB port, coaxial cable, AV and components out ports. All these are really convenient after hanging the TV on the wall.
Micromax 50B5000FHD features a 50" (1920x1080) FHD Zero-Dot Led panel with 16.7M colours having dynamic contrast ratio of 5000000:1. It has good viewing angles, above average contrast levels and descent black levels. It also supports SRS Surround system with two 1owatt outlets. It has feature of ultra-low power saving mode in which typical consumption usage being 95W and standby 1W consumption. It supports all video and audio formats in addition to still images via USB flash and external hard drives. It also gets connected to external speakers via analog cable.
At the end we can say that it is a good value for money television. We can't compare it with the other TV's which are nearly doubled it' price. If you are looking for some big screen fun at lower price without much noticing it's details this is really good option for you.
