One Plus One vs Xiaomi Mi4

China's two smartphone makers recently becomes the center of spotlight in the Android market and today we gonna compare the handsets of both the companies- Xiaomi mi4 and One plus one. Let's see which of them wins the battle.
Both companies employ a number of techniques to sell to their consumers. They both brings high end specs to the mid-range segment. While neither company is very old, they have managed to attract quite a bit of attention.

Design

When it comes to design, the Mi4 looks more premium thanks to it's steel frame and chamfered edges. It has rounded corners and has soft persona. While the One plus one also not feel so bulky, thanks to it,s optium weight to dimension ratio. The exact dimensions of Mi4 are 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm (5.48 x 2.70 x 0.35 in) weighing 149 g. One Plus dimensions are also bit closer to Mi4 which are 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm (6.02 x 2.99 x 0.35 in) weighing 162gm.

Both the phones have a curvy back enhances attraction among people but the One comes with sandstone grey finish which is very unique. In day to day use, One scores higher whether Mi4 have premium feel. But some people loves one hand use which will goes to the Mi4.

Performance

Xiaomi Mi4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip clocked at 2.5ghz with Adreno 330 graphics driven by 3gb of ram. Surprisingly One plus also features the same chip and ram configuration.
The Mi4 runs MIUI 6, company's newer version of operating system based on the Android 4.4.3 Kitkat. One plus comes with Cyanogen Mod 11S, customisable version of Android 4.4.4 Kitkat developed by Cyanogen. Cynaogen is known for it's customisabality, enhanced security and additional features.
One plus one have a edge on the connectivity side as it supports FD-Lte 1800Mhz Band 3 & TD-Lte Band 40 2300Mhz which are commonly used bands. Mi4 lacks the 4g connectivity. So the One plus is clearly the winner here.
The One plus one comes with 64gb of internal storage but in Mi4 should have to stick with the 16g of storage as both the phones doesn't feature external sd crad. One plus also has a edge in here.
Mi4 comes with the 3080mAh of battery and Xiaomi promised that battery would last one and half a day with normal usage. One plus packs a 3100mAh of battery which last full day with heavy use.

Display

Mi4 comes with 5.0 inch (1080x1920) IPS LCD panel which makes it arousing 441 ppi density. On the other hand One plus has 5.5inch (1080X1920) LTPS LCD technology. The One plus comes with the protection of Gorrila Glass 3.

Camera

The Xiaomi sports a 13MP rear camera featuring Sony exmor RS stacked image sensor, f/1.8 aperature 6 element lens, real time HDR and 4h UHD recording with Led flash. The front camera also features an 8MP tracking Exmor RS back illuminated image sensor and 80degree wide angle 5-element lens, f/1.8 aperature. It takes good quality pictures in low light. The One Plus one also features the same 13MP rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX 214sensor 6 lens, f/2.0 aperature capable of shooting 4K UHD with stereo recording features slow motion-720p video at 120fps. Pricing and conclusion

Mi4 priced at Rs.19999($322) while One plus retails at Rs 219999($354). Both the phones are availale online.In India both the phones are difficult to acquire and you'll need to go throgh the hassle for fetching an invite.

So which one should you buy? Personally If i had to buy i'll go with the One Plus One as it has 4g connectivity, has more storage and it has Cyanogen Mod installed in it which offers you really good customisability. But it you don't wanna buy a phablet sized device, the Mi4 is your best bet.
