When you thinks of android tablet, you might not be think of Dell. But with the starting of 2015, Dell launches it's entry into high prized mid-sized tablet's category. So this is a review of Dell Venue 8 7000.
When you look at it, the first thing you gonna notice is it's design. It is the world's thinnest tablet as it's 6mm thick. It has square edges little bit round at the bottom. After seeing it, you might be remind of sharp aquos crystal in the form of tablet. So it has three thin bezels around the top and a chin having speakers and front camera at the bottom. It has the stereo sound speakers but the sound only comes from one side which feels not that much good. There is a 2mp camera at the left of the speakers. The rear camera sports a 8mp Intel RealSense 3D technology (2 x 720p cameras) so you can work together to shoot different variations of a shot, each with a different area of focus.
Other than that you may also impress by it's display as it has 8.4"(2560x1600) OLED screen having 359ppi density because the screen is an OLED panel, the quality is stunning as well: punchy colors and wide viewing angles, with a strong backlight throughout. The screen is covered with the aluminium frame which makes it fells good in hand. Well not only this Dell boast it's hardware with Quad core 2.3ghz Intel Atom Z3580 processor blessed by 2gb of ram. It comes with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and you will soon get Android lollipop update The phone's internal storage is only 16gb but you can expand it by add upto 512gb of sd card. The tablet also sports 4g lte band for faster internet downloads.
So at the conclusion this is the head turning, interesting looking tablet out there. The tablet will priced you around $400(approx Rs.24800) and is now available with the lte or just wifi model. I think the tablet is expensive it should be priced 100bucks less. But if it's there it's there.
